License items are requests that have been sent by the state regulator for MLOs to complete. License items are often sent when a new application is submitted or when there is a significant change to the Individual (MU4) Filing.
Where can I find my license items?
License items are found under the Composite View tab in NMLS. You will need to click View Individual to get into your account information.
Once you are in View Individual, you will need to go to State Licenses/Registration Lists to view the licenses you have acquired. When you see the summary of your licenses, go under License Items with the corresponding state and click on the number to view the item the state regulators have sent you.
After you have selected the license item, you will be taken to State License Item Information, here you will find all active and previous license items you have with the state. You will need to clear any license items you have, or you may face fines or revocation of your license. Make sure the items requested are completed in a timely manner. Some license items will be sent directly to your personal email with further instructions by the state agency/regulator.
