Uploading Borrower Documents Sent via Email

When borrowers send you documents directly through email you have the option to send those documents to our doc team at documents@clientdirectmtg.com. The team will break out and upload the documents into the borrower's record in the appropriate document category. 


It is important to note that we open specific buckets for each document category. This ranges from Income, Assets, Identification, Property, Appraisals, and so on.  We create these specific document types to efficiently review and upload complete borrower packages to investors. It causes delays when documents are not in the appropriate document section.


In some cases, it can cause the client to become upset if a document uploaded did not go into the correct category which would lead to the request for a specific document to still go out the following morning.  So, it is important to review all documents uploaded by the client.  You are notified immediately via chatter when a client uploads any document through the borrower portal.
